 Hello all,

On behalf of Gays, Lesbians and Others in Woods Hole (GLOW) and the
Diversity Advisory Committee, we would like to personally invite you to
attend our upcoming panel, “Decoding the Alphabet Soup”. *This event will
be held on May 30th, 2019 at 5:00 pm in Clark 507*.

The purpose of this panel is to bring together our local members of the
LGTBQ community, parsing out what each letter of the abbreviation (that can
quickly become “alphabet soup”) means to them. This event will marry the
personal accounts of members of our WHOI community with a stimulating
discussion on acronyms and pronouns, in an attempt to create awareness and
propagate community-building amongst affinity groups. We would love to have
you participate in this historic event as support from the Woods Hole
community is symbolic and critical to sustaining the momentum of these
grassroots efforts.

The flyer for the event is attached, please feel free to post and share--we
would appreciate it greatly. We look forward to seeing you then!
