Scientists, graduate students, post-docs, and research associates in the sciences are invited to participate in a free, 1.5-day workshop on Nov. 15 (afternoon) and 16, 2019.



Writing about Science for the Public: A Hands-On Workshop for Scientists

Led by David Berreby, author and science journalist



This workshop is designed for scientists who wish to communicate their work more clearly and effectively to the public, the media, and to scientists outside their own field.



Participants will examine concepts of science communication, get intense and practical training in different science-writing strategies, and have a chance to engage in the craft.



“Writing About Science for the Public” is free of charge and limited to 12 participants. Priority will be given to registrants from the Marine Biological Laboratory, Woods Hole.
