Do you have a budding oceanographer in your family? Then this program is for them.



We are excited to announce a FREE 3-day Exploring Oceanography program for girls and boys ages 12-15





Participants will:

• Learn how to use gear and instrumentation to collect water samples and measure parameters such as temperature, salinity, oxygen, and pH.

• Develop skills to format spreadsheets & create charts from the data collected in the field

• Perform daily plankton tows

• Identify and photograph plankton

• Prepare and present their work to their families and the public during an outdoor evening program at the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center.
