The daffodil is a symbol of hope and renewal. To the American Cancer Society, daffodils represent the hope we all share for a world free of cancer. Every spring, people across New England fight back against cancer through the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days program. By making a Daffodil Days donation, you will be doing more than giving or receiving beautiful flowers; you will be sharing hope for all people facing cancer by raising funds and awareness to beat the disease.
Place an order today by emailing slivingstone at mbl.edu
This year's offerings include:
Bouquets of 10 daffodils - $10 each
Potted daffodil plants - $15 each
Bear and a Bunch (a Boyds' Teddy Bear and a bouquet) - $25
Last, and my personal favorite, is the Gift of Hope. For a donation of $25 , the American Cancer Society will deliver flowers to a cancer patient.
Please make checks payable to American Cancer Society
The last day to order is Monday, March 1st .
Delivery will take place the week of March 22nd for pick-up at Swope.
