English organist, choral director, and composer Peter Lea-Cox will make his 18th musical tour to the United States from October 21-30. 

He will be in Falmouth on October 29 leading a choral workshop and concert. For a full schedule of his tour, please contact Carol Schachinger (cschachi at mbl.edu). 

Choral Workshop for singers , young and old, of all levels of experience. Saturday, 
October 29, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, Falmouth. Peter will lead 
rehearsal of choral music by William Boyce; and from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, sung in 
English and Latin. Cost $30 includes lunch. To register, contact Pastor Ronald T. Englund at

Choral Workshop Concert will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, with the 
Workshop Choir plus Carl Evans, trumpet; Bob Katcher, trumpet; and Stewart Schuele, horn. 
Freewill offering. Reception follows. 

Choral Workshop – Saturday, October 29, 2011 
We invite you to take part in a choral workshop at Christ Lutheran Church, Brick Kiln Road, Falmouth, 
Massachusetts, on Saturday, October 29, 2011, from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. The cost will be $30 which 
will include the cost of the musical scores, lunch, morning coffee and afternoon tea. Register by 
contacting the Rev. Ronald T. Englund (see below). 

The participants will spend the day in a single rehearsal of choral music under Peter’s inspiring 
leadership. Copies of the scores will be available beforehand for singers who request the music. The 
music will include works by English composer, William Boyce (1711-1779) on the celebration of the 
300th anniversary of his birth; plus lovely choral works, sung in English and Latin, by composers from 
the Baltic countries of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. 

The workshop will be exciting to singers of all ages, both to those with experience as well as those 
who have limited vocal experience. Singers from all backgrounds are invited to join with us on this 
special day of music-making. 

An informal Workshop Concert will begin at 7 pm on Saturday, October 29. The singers will perform 
some of the works rehearsed during the day. Carl Evans, trumpet; Bob Katcher, trumpet; and Stewart 
Schuele, horn, will take part in the concert.
