Over 80 Gardens Open Cape Wide during the first annual Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival! 


What: Ten days of private gardens open to the public from July 10 th through the 19 th . There will be over 80 open gardens Cape-wide along with special events and garden educational opportunities. 

How: People can see the list of open gardens and associated events on the Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival website: http://www.capecodchamber.org/hydrangea-fest 

All gardens will be open from 10 AM to 4 PM and entry to each garden is $5.00 and may be visited on a “pay at the gate” basis. Addresses will be on the Hydrangea Fest website two of days before gardens are open. 

Why: To promote the love of plants and gardening, and to celebrate Cape Cod’s signature plant, the Hydrangea although not all gardens contain hydrangeas. All garden entry fee benefits local non-profits. 

During the festival there will be signs marking open gardens that will have the new Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival logo on them. This signage was made possible through generous donations made by the Cape Cod Landscape Association and Parterre Landscape Services: http://www.parterregarden.com/
