Song of the Sea 
Based on the Irish legend of the Selkies, Song of the Sea is a breathtakingly gorgeous, hand-drawn masterpiece that tells the story of the last seal-child, Saoirse, and her brother Ben, who go on an epic journey to save the world of magic and discover the secrets of their past. (93 minutes). After the film, meet WHOI biologist Andrea Bogomolni, who will talk about her work with seals. 	Wild Kratts: Creatures of the Deep Sea 
Martin and Chris dive down to the most unexplored habitat on Earth: the ocean trenches. Features a segment filmed in Woods Hole with a WHOI scientist and the research sub Alvin . (50 minutes). After the film, meet a real Alvin pilot and hear some of his adventures. 	The Boat Builder 
A bitter old hermit known around town as ‘Captain Crazy’ reluctantly agrees to help a young orphan avoid the local bullies so long as he agrees to help him finish his half-built boat. The two forge an unlikely bond, and the boat becomes their one chance to escape from the seaside village that harbors their troubles. A family drama, starring Christopher Lloyd. Recommended for children 12 and older.

Open Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Learn about the science and engineering at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institiution through videos and interactive exhibits. Drop by for these special “School Vacation Week” activities: 	

Monday, April 17 – Wednesday, April 19, 1-3 p.m. 

Anytime between 1-3 p.m., come by and try your hand at water-based science activities. 

Thursday, April 20, at 11:00 a.m. 

Hovey Clifford will read the book “A Fish Out of Water”
