Registration is open for the tenth New England Ocean Science Education Collaborative (NEOSEC) Ocean Literacy Summit: Knowing the Ocean: 20 Years of Ocean Literacy. The event will take place in Freeport, ME, on October 27-28, 2025, at the beautiful Harraseeket Inn. The Summit will focus on connecting scientists, educators, and community leaders to critically think about equitable collaboration, share best practices, and provide networking opportunities. Please join us in increasing understanding and dialogue in New England around ocean literacy!

Monday will include field trips, workshops, and an evening reception and trivia. On Tuesday, we have a full day of talks, starting with a keynote address from Diana Payne, CT Sea Grant, and the IOC Group of Experts on Ocean Literacy. We'll follow that with networking and contributed presentations from educators, researchers, artists, and communities around New England.
