"Science Party" on Oct 21 & Art Exhibit

Join WHOI Sea Grant for a "Science Party” Oct 21, at 5:30pm as part of “Our Coastal Landscapes” Art Exhibit. An Arts at the Stone Church and WHOI collaboration, the exhibit celebrates the diverse beauty of our coastal environments, wildlife, and the vessels people use to navigate on the water. Local artists and WHOI scientist-artists will display their creative work at the First Congregational Church of Wareham (11 Gibbs Ave) from Oct 19-26. Families, friends, and curious minds are invited to the "Science Party" to explore interactive exhibits, meet local artists and scientists, and participate in creative activities designed to spark imagination and foster a love for learning more about the land where the land meets the water. The science of coastal resilience and aquaculture will compliment artistic reflections on the beauty and challenges of the coastline.

Exhibit details:
Sunday Oct 19, 11:30am-1pm: Opening Reception
Tues Oct 21, 10am-4pm: Gallery
            5:30pm: "Science Party”
Fri Oct 24, 11am-1pm: Gallery Open
Sunday Oct 26, 11:30am-1pm: Gallery Open
