We have an excellent group of instructors that includes Robert Grainger, Will Ratzan, Ira Blitz, Takuya Nakayama, Sang-Wook Cha and Panna Tandon.
Wow, I've climbed up the ranks to the second instructor in the list! Does this make me a Lieutenant Instructor? Does this mean I get an honorarium?

Dear Xenopus community,
A reminder that registration is now open for the genome editing workshop. This will be the 2nd installment of this workshop and it looks to be an exciting week. The course is designed to help you in all steps of making mutants using genome editing. This includes navigating the laevis and tropicalis genomes to identify sgRNA or TALEN target sites, genotyping F0 embryos and oocyte host transfer. Costs have been reduced to encourage greater attendance.
Included in the price is the design and cloning of sgRNAs for your gene of interest or TALEN, but requires registration for the workshop by April 1st to give us enough time to design and clone the reagents. We have an excellent group of instructors that includes Robert Grainger, Will Ratzan, Ira Blitz, Takuya Nakayama, Sang-Wook Cha and Panna Tandon. The tentative syllabus for the workshop can be found on our webpage ( http://www.mbl.edu/xenopus/workshops/genomeediting-workshop )
If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
Sincerely,
Marko Horb
