Hi,
We purchased the MINJ-D microinjector from Tritech Research. It cost about $3000.
While it is not as nice as the PLI-100, it is compact and importantly has the ability to apply negative pressure for frontloading of pipettes. I think it is made by a research lab spinoff company. There are some small annoyances in the design, but overall it does everything we need.
Best,
Ed

Subject: [Xenopus] Query about Microinjector for embryo injections
Hi Folks,
We need to buy microinjectors for Xenopus embryo injections. The PLI-100 from Harvard Apparatus/Warner Instruments is no longer manufactured.
What microinjector do folks use for microinjection these days?
Any help or feedback on this would be really appreciated.
Thank you
Pai
