[Physiofaculty] Free Promega support for PHY 2105 course

Hello Physiology!

In the message Yesterday I mentioned that we can purchase anything from Promega for FREE. 

A couple of weeks ago I sent out a message to the Faculty suggesting they consider using Promega Halo tag constructs. You can order any human or mouse protein with a halo tag  You can then use any of their cell permeable or impermeable ligands to visualize or purify your protein. But you need to order them soon because there is a lag time for these constructs to be made. (Free). A couple people from the JLS group ordered these last year, but I think other groups might have interest as well.

Promega offers several other products that might be of interest. They sent the following information for people interested in cell health assays: 

>   Attached is a PDF Cell Health Assay guide, which includes the majority of our cell health and metabolism assays. Many of these can be multiplexed. We’d be happy to discuss with anyone who is interested.

> The main assay not included is our new RealTime-Glo™ MT Cell Viability Assay. It is a counterpart to our CellTox™ Green Cytotoxicity Assay. Both allow for monitoring cell health in real time.
