The webpage provides extensive information including a comparison table to Lipofectamine for quite a few cell lines. The table provides data for each cell line, which includes ratios and amount of DNA used. You can use this data to determine the optimal parameters for a specific cell line without doing the testing. As for pricing, ViaFect is a little less than FuGENE HD per ml of reagent, and in general, the similar amount is used per reaction. We have additional data with comparisons, if anyone is interested.
