Dear Friends of Revere High School Science Fair, 



Once again it is time for our annual school fair. The success of past fairs is due, in large part, to the wonderful group of judges who have taken time to speak with our students about the experiments they have conducted. For that, we are very appreciative. This year’s fair will be held on Thursday February 25 th in the RHS Library. It will begin at 8 AM and run until all the projects have been judged. The date is earlier than previous years to accommodate MCAS testing and fairs at the regional and state level. I am optimistic that judging will be completed before 11AM. 



In the interest of decreasing paper use and postage, hard copies of the invitation will not be sent unless I do not have an email address. You will find four attachments including the Invitation, RSVP, judging rubric and directions to the High School (please let me know if you are unable to open these files). If you are able to judge even if it is for a short period of time please RSVP either by email or by using the RSVP form by February 12 th . We are always looking for new judges with different interests. If you know of anyone that would be interested in judging please forward any contact information and I will send them an invitation. 



As you know, the economy has been difficult for all. In addition to assisting with judging many of you and the organizations you are affiliated with have helped by providing financial support. Registering students for the regional fair, trophies, prizes, and refreshments all cost money that schools, frankly, do not have. If you or your organization can provide support for science fair at Revere High School please contact me. In the past some organizations have supported specific types of projects such as biotech, engineering, or alternative energy. That is possible within the context of judging. Checks can be made out to Revere High School and sent to me at the address below. 



As always, Thank you for all that you do to support our students. We are fortunate to have so many wonderful people involved in the science fair. We look forward to seeing you and if you are unable to attend this year we hope to see you at future fairs.
