[Xenopus] Acknowledging NXR (and other stock centers)

National Xenopus Resource xenopus at mbl.edu

Dear Xenopus community,
Please remember to acknowledge the National Xenopus Resource in your publications. This is especially important to the NIH and how it views the health of the community.
Did you purchase frogs from the NXR? If so please make sure to include them in your Materials and Methods and to include the RRID number for each frog line and for the NXR itself. I have noticed people acknowledging us but not mentioning which frog line was purchased.
Did you attend a workshop that benefited the paper? If so please acknowledge that in the paper.

I would also be grateful if you would email me when your paper is published. That way I can send that on to my Program Officer and use the information in the grant renewal. The NXR grant is up for renewal next year and I will be bringing all this information together for the grant.

I look forward to seeing you all at the International Xenopus Conference.

Sincerely,
Marko Horb
