Dear Xenopus community
My apologies for the delay is providing the following information regarding the 2019 Xenopus Resources and Emerging Technologies (XRET) Meeting. The dates for this meeting will be Friday October 11 until Monday October 14. The format will be similar to previous years with an opening BBQ dinner on Friday, followed by talks all day Saturday and Sunday and Monday morning. Meeting would end Monday at 12:00pm. The program organizers of this meeting will Be Rachel Miller, Gregory Weber and Helen Willsey. Costs of the meeting will be kept to a minimum to encourage attendance. We hope every person who registers will give a talk.
I am also happy to announce that the 2019 Genome Editing workshop will be held Oct 14-24, immediately following the XRET meeting. This will be the final year to use the NSF EGE funds grant that Gary Gorbsky and I received to reduce the costs of the workshop. Last year the costs for a shared room were only $1300 and I am hopeful to get that cost down to $1000. That is only $100 per day for room and board and some fantastic instruction and all the frogs you want. We hope many of you can attend.
I look forward to seeing you at these events
Marko
