Hello Xenopus researchers
This is a friendly reminder that if you have thought about coming to the NXR to use any of our resources that we have a cottage available for you to stay in free of charge. It is a 2 bedroom cottage that can accommodate 4 people. You can come and use any of our transgenic lines, generate your own transgenic line, make a new mutant or learn husbandry methods. The NXR staff are on hand to provide assistance and this is an excellent way for you to generate a new line, which we can then grow for you and then you can come back and work on it in the future.
At this time the cottage is available the entire month of September, and then from November 1 onwards as well. Feel free to reach out to me or come talk to us at the Xenopus Conference in Portsmouth in August. If you are the SDB right now look for Nikko and Kelsey who are there. Talk to them and ask about this opportunity.
The NXR is here to serve the Xenopus community but we need your engagement.
Marko
